TOOTH RESTORATION

Your dentist can suggest various treatments to restore damaged teeth
DENTAL FILLINGS
Dental fillings are used to treat tooth decay that has caused a cavity (hole). The dentist removes decay from the tooth, cleans the cavity, dries and seals it with a filling material.
(Other treatments to restore damaged teeth include crowns and veneers.)

PERIODONTAL
TREATMENT

Gum disease is usually caused by a buildup of plaque on teeth and along the gum line. The immune system tries to get rid of plaque with an inflammation response (redness and swelling of the gum).
Other causes of gum disease includes medication side effects and some chronic diseases.

TEETH CLEANING

Professional cleaning removes built-up debris around your teeth and inside pockets (space under the soft tissue around your teeth).
This procedure removes food particles, soft plaque (bacterial growth) and hard calculus (mineral deposits also called tartar).

ROOT CANAL TREATMENT

The pulp (often called the nerve of the tooth) is contained within the hollow center of the tooth (that consists of blood vessels and nerve fibers that supply oxygen, nutrients and feeling to the tooth).
Injuries to the tooth or advanced decay can irreversibly damage the tooth pulp and it can become infected. Then you need root canal treatment in which the damaged pulp will be removed and the space will be filled and sealed.

ORAL HEALTH & PREVENTION

Dental health should be managed from the early childhood teeth (deciduous or milk teeth) and continued through out the adult life. Healthy dental habits (such as healthy eating and specially avoiding sugary and sweet drinks and pastries and proper cleaning techniques ) are on top of our list to be emphasized and taught. We have daily classes to provide this education for the patients and their dear parents.
